After the absolute lovefest yesterday from Herbstreit at the Rosebowl, what claim does Utah have if they are undefeated vs one loss USC. I'm sure there is some rationale out there that justifies USC beating a lower ranked Penn St while playing a home game. (MWC blistered the Pac10 this year).

This game was never close. Utah put an absolute defensive beatdown on Alabama..................can't wait to see how they minimize an undefeated season. I am curious if OU/Fla game is a blowout and Texas loses, will Utah finish ahead of USC.:geaux:
I have never posted a comment before, but after tonights game I had too. I believe the MAC deserves an automatic BSC bowl bid in lieu of the Big East getting one! The MAC has shown, in recent years with the Boise State Win in 05, the Utes win in 04 and tonigth they belong in the BCS mix.
I think you mean the WAC...although perhaps we can argue that the MAC is better than the Big East also! :tigereye:
IMO Utah is the clear cut #2 team in the nation no matter who wins or loses from here on out. The winner of the MNCG will be national Champ!
