Funny isn't it? 24 players on the field at the time and only ONE had the knowledge of what the hell was going on! Thank GOD he was in purple and gold!
Basically they were not very good fighters, but God was with them because their cause is righteous, and they kill everybody.......with tons of good luck.
i think so. during WVA game, we got penalized for too many men on defense. flag tossed and whistle blown before the snap. on the replay, you can see the back judge counting UT players and reaching for flag. he was throwing that flag one way or another.
No we lose. In other words, if not for the quick thinking of T-Bob our coaching staff would have cost us another loss because of clock management incompetence. Indeed, if I were Less Miles I would buy T-Bob a steak dinner, because if we would have loss that game with another clock management debacle and then lose the Florida, Auburn, Alabama, and Arkansas games, it would probably result in his termination at the end of the season. In any event, I still hope it does!
And I'm glad you're NOT Les Miles! Because IF you bought a player a steak dinner, you'd be in NCAA violations and the player would be suspended and the school fined.
Actually, it's still a penalty. They had 13 guys set for the play. As long as they're rotating they're fine but the D was set. Now whether it wouldve been called sans chaos is another issue, but it was still a penalty. That's why you often see the penalty called before the ball is snapped. Similar to the 12 men in a huddle offensive penalty.
it would have been called. watch the replay from behind the offense. back judge is counting and reaching for flag.
Honestly, I don't know about that. My understanding is that as a defense, you have up until the ball is snapped to get whomever you want on the field. Perhaps he was reaching for the flag in thinking there was no way LSU couldn't get a snap off. I mean....he was almost proved wrong!
