I don't think you play any different. I had expected delayed blitzs and pressure anyway. In 1970, Archie Manning broke his left arm. He returned for the LSU game. The tigers showed him no mercy. If you are out there, it is your responsibility to be ready to play. If you aren't ready, well, sometimes life isn't always in your favor. I was at the LSU game. As a young fan, I truely thought LSU may take cheap shots at Archie. Not so. In fact, after the game, his Mom made the statement that the LSU team had played well and had not taken any unnecessary shots at her son. She praised the tiger's sportsmanship and talent. I saw for myself, several times, LSU players helping Archie up after busting his butt. But first things first. You better be concerned for this:

after the opening game loss to OSU, Joe Cox (Ga. qb), has lead the Ga. offense to be one of the most explosive in the SEC. They have put up nearly 100 points combined against Arkansas and South Carolina.

BTW----If Tebow can't play, they start John Brantley. He has completed 73 percent of his passes for 232 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception this year as a backup. Fla. associate head coach, Charlie Strong, said the team was confident in Brantley. He is their future and does a great job. He knows how to manage this offense. Coach talk or the truth? I know the coach can't publicly state "we're in deep chit."

(AP) The SEC has the nation's top non-conference winning percentage at 92.3 percent, winning 24 out of 26 games.

(AP) Florida's Brandon James is the new SEC career leader in total kick return yardage, which includes kicloff and punt returns. The senior has 3,381 return yards, passing Kentucky's Derek Abney, who had 3,357 from 2000 to 2003. (might better be aware of this guy too)

Yes some concussions do last a while. Most don't affect you the next week, much less 2 weeks later. His did sound pretty severe however. Anytime you're on the field that long, who knows.

I agree Kentucky may have leveled the playing field quite a bit, whether he plays or not.

    +1 i agree....

No way Tebow is 100% coming into tiger stadium. If it is a severe concussion like Urban said Tebow will have lingering affects. Even after a 4 week period people still are still not 100% from a severe concussion and another mild to hard hit to the head will ring his bell and most likely put him out.

With that said i don't think we see the Tim Tebow that we are use to seeing come Oct. 10. A lot more passing and less running.....a more cautious Tebow.

Someone should tell Tebow it aint worth it. Ask any QB that has had multiple concussions. Its better to be able to complete a sentence than throw for 400 yards.
Urban Meyer is a scumbag, imo.

i would imagine if he played more than 2 quarters in most games things wouldnt look the same.

Not my fault or yours that Florida played against Charleston Southern and Troy. He didnt throw that well against Tennessee, nor Kentucky.

    So Id say it compares.
Im sure you see it a different way as usual.

Obviously. You just quoted my post where I disagreed.

tebow was 5-10 for 100 yds and 1 td against kentucky. not bad for a half a game.
of course you failed to mention he rushed for 100 yards and 2 td's by halftime.

it was 31-0 at the end of the first quarter after all.

    you said:
    kind of broad to me.

i think most qb's have a tougher time without two nfl wr's. dont let living near there make you crazy. ;)
