This may be a dumb question but if Tebow is to play against us, do we pressure him any differently than we would if he never got a concussion? Do we blitz him more since we know he will be more worried about getting hit or what? I say we try to knock him out the game again, but that's just me. Not try to kill him, just knock him out the game again. What do yall think we will do?

No that won't be a factor. Likelihood is that the concussion will be behind him by the time we play them next weekend. If the game was this weekend, probably a different story and Florida would want to be careful with him trying to run the ball and take hits.

Overall, I am much more worried about Demps and Rainey on the edges. Thems the guys that will kill us if Florida is successful offensively.

Tebow sucks as a passing QB. And that's showing more and more as he's getting exposed with having no receivers.

Tebow and Jeffersons numbers are about the same. Without receivers he isnt all that great.

i said it in another thread but the key to winning this game on the defensive side of the ball is to confuse Tebow at the line of scrimmage by disguising who is coming. He has the option at the line to choose from 3 or 4 plays based on what look the defense gives. Maybe the concussion will have him off just a little in the head, if so that will help us, but its all about deception.

on the offensive side of the ball, we MUST establish the run. If we don't pick up yards on the ground we will be in trouble. The best way to beat UF is to keep their offense off the field for as long as we can.

And to compound the problem for LSU is the fact Florida has arguably the best secondary in the country (and back 7 for that matter). So if we can't establish the run, it will be a long and ugly night. O-line has to come together that game. Their run defense is suspect. But we still have to be inventive and not just slam it up the gut.

Tebow is a running quarterback. He's going to get hit in any game and I'm surprised he hasn't been injured before. It's why there are no running quarterbacks in the NFL. They can't take the pounding, year after year.

We don't need to play him any different. Just hit him on every play as usual.

I wouldn't say that. Severe concussions like Tebow had linger on for a while, not just a a week or so. Another decent hit by LSU and he will be back on the sideline throwing up. I don't see him playing against us and if he does he won't be running that much. Kentucky may have just helped us out.

Consussions are nothing to play around with. His life and quality of life are at risk so I would hope that his health is the only thing considered when making the decision to play him.

If he does play, I think the concussion will still be a factor in the gameplan. I can't imagine he would run it as much. I would take a play out of the Tennessee game and make him throw it all day to be successful. Drop a lot of men into coverage. Does Meyer want to risk Tebow getting injured or killed by running him in his typical fashion? I don't think so. They will rely on the pass much more.

Blitz periodically, keep the Gators in front and make them sustain long drives while working on creating turnovers.

I think we need to play them like people play us, load the box with 8, with their lack of big play WRs, make whichever quarterback they play beat us. We have to stop those little damn runningbacks.

    But first, Georgia.

I don't disagree but he got the concussion on a pass play.
