If reinstated does JJ become a distraction?

So you don't think Jefferson is on a SUPER short leash? He broke team curfew, kicked someone in the face, and lied to Miles.

You honestly think Miles is going to sit back and allow him to destroy this winning team? First sign of trouble and Miles is gonna have him sitting so hard on the bench that it'll shine by the time he gets up.

JJ might get to play but I guarantee you it's conditional. We already know that Miles will kick RyanP off the team with no backup. I can promise you he'd do the same to Jefferson - especially with having Lee and Mett.

 

dude......wtf. are you serious? Do you really think this team is that fragile mentally? that is ridiculous. These are young guys that are close friends. This goes beyond football. They are just glad to have their teammate back. JL is the qb and the team supports him. You think they are just going to mutiny and sabotage their season and all they have overcome over starting a qb who hasnt even practiced in a month?? I think they are all better than that. You are entitled to your opinion but I greatly disagree and I'm sure the players would think that your assumptions are laughable.

 

On top of that before this incident can anyone tell me one single thing that JJ has done to be considered a problem....off the field of course

 

I hope not but who knows. I have seen the pouting on the sideline last year when lee was in. I would bet it's eating him up alive that lee has done so well and he isn't the starter anymore. I hope, as another poster said in a diffrent thread, that he has learned some humility. I hope the team doesn't split into two diffrent factions and it all falls apart. Lee was man enough to be a team player last year. I don't see it in Jefferson.

 

Yeah those are fair points. Just thought the initial post was way too aggressive and dramatic. I'm sticking with hoping that he will ease back into the team and concentrate on being just that. A good teammate. I do expect him to get some snaps by the back end of the season but hopefully it isnt at the expense of Lee's progress because his play speaks for itself. He is basically playing the best football of all the qb's in this league bar none. No way Miles takes that away. but who knows......just wishful thinking I guess.

 

Do you know Jefferson personally? How would YOU know that Jefferson would kick someone while down on the ground? Do you have any facts that support your contention? With your statement about the marine being no match for the pro level athletes, you are assuming all the physical damage were done by the "football players". How about other bar patrons who are non lsu goons out to beat the chit out of some white people?

If nothing else he hopefully learned it's not all about him and that the team was able to pull together and run quite fine without him.
