Do you know something about the Florida game that I don't?

I think it's a little unfair to bash Manziel based on his performance against LSU's defense. Against most other defenses he would do just fine and his combination of scrambling ability and passing is tough as hell to scheme against. He's. also a RS Fresh. I don't think the LSU defense is exactly looking forward to facing him again next year.

Right. Manziel is a gamer, Mett not so much. I'd swap qb's in a second...

The whole CLM can't coach debate goes around and around and around. It's frustrating. Clearly he can coach....defense. Offense, he struggles. If he could ever step back and hand his offense to someone who knows what they are doing, how good could they be?
As for discipline.....the buck has to stop with CLM. Penalties are killing them, and something has to be done. The late hit penalty called on Reid late in the game was embarrassing.

Manziel can scamper, too. On one play he evaded about 8 LSU players.

    O
one would think after playing the position for so many years that Mett would've developed some sort of "spidey sense" that he's surrounded and needs to get the hell out of there.......

You may be on to something here. The wind was quite strong and most definitely had an affect on the flight path of the ball far in excess of what we could see on TV.

Or if all our receivers weren't 6'0 and a bunch of true 2 and 3 type receivers.....Sure some of the throws weren't perfect but they almost have to be with this receiving group, I love em but we really miss Randle.
