Nobody will ever accuse us of adapting our offensive scheme to the players we have.

Last season, everybody was so busy hating on JJ and worrying about JL throwing off his back foot, that they automatically assumed (and it's ALWAYS incorrect...) that our BEST QB was sitting on the bench. Why did we play 2 merely average senior QBs last year? Because they were the best we had--and fans refused to acknowledge that might have been the case.

If anything, I just WISH we'd run the freakin' ball more than we have been. That's all we truly have, so we'd better develop that to the best of our abilities.

How many were dead set against a running QB after last year? Most were cursing the fact we signed Bolden this fall because he was a "running QB". Funny how things never seem to change.

I still have hope for Mett. He needs to develop a better tough on the ball but he can throw it. I like that LSU is trying to make it happen. They need to be able to throw to get better. The ball to Boone was nice. It just dropped in there. Its a process....

    I know.

First, no interceptions. Then one or two good passes. Then something a little more....hopefully!

Mett is a slow Dennard Robinson, great arm, no touch on the ball.

If Mett had half the wheels of Robinson, we'd be okay. However, Mett is a worse runner than JL, and I never thought I see one worse.
