I thought we were over rated at #4. At least I really thought so...and that also seemed to be the consensus opinion.

it's all irrelevant really, if LSU loses to florida. they still need to beat Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn and Arky. i'd rather lose to florida and beat those four SEC-W foes. that would give us a rematch with florida with a LOT more on the line. i think LSU battles florida and gives the gaytors ALL that they want. i think miles and company did a VERY good job of keeping the playbook close enough to the vest and not giving florida anything new to look at on tape. we DOMINATED UGA with the same playbook that most of us thought (including myself) we struggled to become 4-0 with. our defense will continue to get stronger as they get comfortable with Chavis. the o-line will continue to get better, and i hope the sickness was nothing serious, because we'll need them healthy for the gay-turd defense.

IF LSU loses. and notice that i say if. they will NOT go down without a fight. no way. a lot of people like to question whether or not i'm an LSU fan because i get excited and emotional, but i've finally seen enough of LSU to where i can honestly say NO ONE in the country scares me. NO one. not even Bama. it will take a lot more improvement to beat Bama in their place, but the.... TIGERS HAVE ENTERED THE BUILDING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!!!!!!!

After defeating UGA, LSU has a ton more confidence and is seeing their hard work pay off. I think better things are coming soon, and eventually we'll blow a game open. Bama will be tough, Auburn the way their playing will be tough and Arky will be tough... but I think we can win all of those games. I kinda like watching LSU scrap out these wins... shows we're not giving up like we did a few times last seasons, and we're winning hard fought battles... this kind of football makes us a very dangerous team... kinda like the "Eye of the Tiger" mentality that Rocky lost but was able to regain. I think we're on the verge of coming together, hell even Herby gave us props after our win.

I like how our schedule is setup after the Florida game. A bye week to get ready for Auburn. Then Tulane before @Bama, then Tech before @Ole Miss. Not trying to put down Tech or Tulane but it's nice to not have to play Auburn and Bama or Bama and Ole Miss back to back.

Also good to play Arkansas Saturday night instead of Friday afternoon after Thanksgiving. Felt like the entire crowd was always out of it in those after Thanksgiving games for the first half or so.

JayB, I Really think you're a tiger fan role model and early on in the season you were actually speaking for a lot of us...even though I'm a sunshine pumper, I'm still hoping the OL play, the play calling, the rushing game, improves because we're going to need a complete game in order to beat the no.1 team in the nation...even in death valley. We really do have a lot going for us now. Look how the defense has come around !! :thumb:

I don't think it's as clear cut as people are stating here.

It will depend on if it's a squeaker or if we dominate the game. Obviously dominating the game seems like a far off prospect, but if we get a couple of huge turnovers and this turns out to a 27-16 win or something along those lines, the voters won't be able to ignore that and it will be a huge mixup at the top. First place votes will be spread out fairly evenly.

Alabama has to go to Ole Miss. If they struggle to win that game, I think we definitely jump Alabama. Texas would be the bigger question.

No chance to jump Tx in my opininon.

But maybe a better question is...

If LSU beats Florida how many threads will be started claiming its no big deal and that LSU still sucks?
