what would you do? Can be as serious or as comical as you'd like. I just am curious to see where this would go.
1. Begin a project to renovate the old dorms in Tiger Stadium, turning them into hotel rooms for visiting fans or alumni wanting to relive the "good old days" of staying in Tiger Stadium. 2. Introduce plans for a LSU Sports Museum and Hall of Fame on the old Alex Box Site, including a 5 level parking garage to be placed around/on top of the museum. 3. Introduce a student ticket benefit program that would be based on a point system. For every baseball, basketball, softball, soccer game etc... attended, students would earn points. These points would earn them benefits in receiving student season football tickets, these points would also, upon graduation, be rolled over and placed in the alumni point system for season tickets and post season tickets.
Immediately go to work looking for ways to increase revenue long term. The rest of the SEC is not standing still and we must keep improving our facilities to attract the level of athletes that we want. Secondly I would embark on a crusade to sell this long term idea to Tiger Fans. Sure, some will be mad but most will understand that we are working to ensure that LSU stays at the top. Wait, I only am AD for a day.... forget everything above. Just make my 'day' a home night SEC game in the fall. I will just enjoy the whole experience of LSU football as AD.
1) Fire John Brady. 2) pass a law that people who park on campus for gameday are never charged (i.e. not paying to tailgate) 3) not price the real fans out of the stadium so our fans don't sound like tennis match on saturday nights. 4) more golden girls and tiger girls, less clothing. edit: oh and most importantly..... 1. I would demolish and replace the old dorms and the entire lower bowl of Tiger Stadium. It is falling apart, the ramps are dark and narrow, bathrooms are inadequate, concessions are inadequate, pipes and wires are hanging everywhere. People pay high surcharges in the bowl and expect better. 2. I would rename North Stadium Road . . . Dale Brown Road. 3. I would build an LSU Mt. Rushmore on river road with Billy Cannon, Pete Maravich, Shaq, and Bob Pettit on it. 4. I would schedule football games with Army, Navy, and Air Force. 5. I'd design a better logo and get some input from Tigerfans before forcing it on everyone.
i would put forth new policies to police the selling of tickets for LSU home football games for obscene amounts of money. I would lobby for harsh enforcement for the selling of football tickets for more than face value. Anyone caught doing this would have season tickets revoked, and would be banned from campus. People making money off of LSU tickets is disgusting. That money should go to a charitable fund, or back to LSU. Not in the pocket of a suit, or in someones pocket because they spent too much money at the boats the weekend before.
