I would swear we were down by 8 points instead of up by 8. Some folks have obviously forgotten we are playing our first game on the road, against a Top 25 SEC opponent. Fire away.
Defense isn't as stout as it has been, it cannot be leaned on the win the game. Offensive line isn't as solid as some mah have previously thought. And still no QB answers or effectiveness due to play calling . There is a point where you can run yourself out of a win when trying to take time off the clock.
I disagree that we can't lean on the defense. Two things have to happen, though. We need about 3 more guys in the front 7 positions to be able to provide quality plays, enough so guys get some breaks and aren't sucking wind in the 4th quarter. And, the offensive has to attack for 60 minutes, not build a 2-score lead and then sit on it.
