Red55 I agree but it also crucial for a back to have time to get into the grove and get "lathered up". That is my only arguement with our current system it seems a back never stays in long enough to really get steam rolling. I agree fresh legs are a big plus but sometimes a thoroughbred needs to get in a stride.That being said if Blue returns healthy and back up to speed, Hilliard comes out of his down year like he should and Hillard continues what he started we will have the best backfield in the country!
I tend to agree. If you set a game plan to run around 70ish plays, our style will most likely be 35-40 run plays. With that, giving 1 back at least 20 carries is a must IMO. 45ish plays a game will not cut it.
