cs, i conveniently blocked bama from my mind when i posted what i did. between "disliking" bama, and that their fans are about the only ones who havent been here from other sec schools cheering us on because of the conference.... f' bama.
call me selfish call it what you want but there are some teams i cannot cheer for no matter what conference they're in. currently i have three: southern cal, florida, and bama. and i cant cheer for UK in basketball and i'm a little luke warm on ole miss and auburn. bama because their fans went from zero to awful in a matter of seconds and florida b/c of their fans and how good they are (i was at LSU darth visor was at his prime). however thru the years, i've come to know some cool florida fans and my hatred for them has shrunk a little. i'm still in a place though where it makes me unhappy to see bama or florida fans happy. i'll never understand why i would want someone that we annually recruit against to be successful??? nevertheless good luck to the gators this football season, they have a helluva shot to repeat.
Just a reminder, "SEC...SEC" was the chant that Ole Miss fans screamed at the Cotton Bowl too...so Texas ought to be used to hearing it. :lol:!
Yeah, especially for him. He's surrounded by them at work and he has to put up with a lot of their sh!t, so I understand where he's coming from.

Some dirty people in this thread. Pulling for hated rivals? Why? Just so you can say you did? I'm not pulling for teams I hate all year long. My cheering for them does not affect the outcome of those games. So why should I get that dirty feeling by puling for a team I hate. If they win, fine. But I won't be there cheering them on in the name of the SEC. Someone commented about living in Texas, so they pull for the SEC. Why? Just hate Texas AND your rival SEC teams. Isn't that much better?
