...would you be rooting for them? Or any other SEC team? Tonight I clicked on ESPN.com and I was really praying to see an LSU win. But then I began wondering.... I went to Florida. Is it just me or does the SEC pride run like that in general? Regardless, congrats. Hopefully you all bring it home tomorrow. :usaflagwa
I always root for the SEC in non-conference games unless its against a Louisiana school (mostly in meaningful games--in games where it doesn't matter except in conference prestige, I root for the SEC against most Louisiana teams). So, for the national championship game this past season, I was 100% a Florida fan against Oklahoma.
I pull for the SEC when we are not playing them, I pull for some SEC schools to beat other SEC schools. So yes I could pull for Florida if they were playing Texas. :geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
IMHO, support for SEC teams in non-conference games is what separates our conference from others. I am proud to be an SEC supporter in such situations, and would NEVER pull for another conference team against a conference member. I also expect, and appreciate, the same support from other SEC fans, ESPECIALLY when one of our members is playing for a national championship. :thumb:
