I actually thought about Weis too. He supposed to be a great Offensive mind. I think he is too tainted and probably too costly.

Is Harsin the brains behind Boise St. or is it Peterson? For a while I thought Dan Hawkins was the offensive genius, but his tenure at Colorado has convinced me Peterson was the genius behind Boise St.

I would like to see LSU make a run at Chow, he had some great offenses at USC. Plus it's only a matter of time before Neuheisel gets investigated for something, so maybe Chow would be interested in trying his hand in the SEC.

I think their is a weight limit on what you can have between an offensive coordinator and a defensive coordinator:rofl:

Saban was the brains behind Muschamps LSU defenses but Muschamp was a student and learned from his master. He is doing well at UT. I'm hoping the same holds true for Harsin.

    Larry Porter.

Give him a promotion to keep him here. OC at LSU is probably more prestigious than HC at Memphis.

Porter is a Memphis alum and he definitely will choose the HC job there over OC here.

No, but what about Joe Lombardi, Saints QB coach? He was OC for Mercyhurst College and is the grandson of Vince. He's been with the Saints a couple of years now as an offensive assistant.

I think the real question is should miles be given the chance to fire the OC? If you have to have the best OC and best DC around you at all times to field a decent team... why are you getting paid 4mil?
