I'll have a drink in your honor from the comfort of my couch while you're sweating to death in the Swamp next Saturday.
Hey yall, Been reading the board for a long time and I don't get to games as I used to anymore so I thought I'd dive in and reconnect with the Tiger community. Anyway, I understand the frustration that has been expressed here. I give Troy credit but they don't have the athletes we do so count me in as one of the many that feel like they got kicked in the gut after this loss. But let's be realistic, we can't be dumping coaches after his first full year. Nobody else would want to come here thinking if they don't win 10 games the first year they'll be out of a job as well. I believe we have every right to expect better than losing to Troy but Coach Orgeron deserves more time to build his own team and move away from what Les was doing however he sees fit. That's what you get with a new coach even when he's from the old staff. The way things stand the rest of the season is going to be a rough one but we have to understand that the program is going through a rebuilding phase and we need to give Coach O a chance to make it work.
If O continues to shit the bed and our money people are willing to pay, I'd support across the board changes. If Alleva is still here, don't fire Eaux.
The first thing we have to do (well Alleva) has to do is admit he fucked up with the hire and try like crazy to fix it fast before Orgeron takes this program further underground making it COMPLETELY undesirable for other candidates. However, I'm sure it's already undesirable because of Alleva.
