Every conference can be hypocritical. I'm laughing my ass off listening to Big 10 Commish Haney. He was one of the loudest proponents during the BCS-era closing, to make sure that a Conf Championship HAS to count....of course cause he wanted to deny more than one spot to the SEC. Now all the sudden, the mofugger is all about limiting that requirement in lieu of other teams because it's all Big 10 teams! I hate that chit.

I totally agree, and i'll go further... IMO, if Florida had beat 'Bama they should be in before the Gumps.

Alabama-Washington, Clemson-Ohio State set for playoff semis
    http://www.espn.com/college-footbal...ton-huskies-selected-college-football-playoff

Alabama, Clemson and Washington all took care of business this weekend, while Ohio State waited at home.

In the end, the top four teams entering the conference championship games were given berths in the College Football Playoff.

The No. 1 Crimson Tide will face the No. 4 Huskies in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, and the No. 2 Tigers will play the No. 3 Buckeyes in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl on Dec. 31, as announced Sunday by the CFP selection committee.

The semifinal winners will meet for the national title on Jan. 9 in Tampa, Florida.

Big Ten champion Penn State missed the cut despite its 38-31 victory over Wisconsin on Saturday and a victory over Ohio State earlier in the season. The Nittany Lions, winners of nine straight games, wound up fifth in the rankings, while Michigan was No. 6.

 Penn State vs USC, in the Rose-Bowl

Bama opened as a 14 point favorite over Washington, & Ohio St. opened as a 3 point favorite over Clemson.
