Oh, so much goodness in this thread! I cheered for the Aggies like I would for my Tigers, and I don't give a damn about any SEC streaks. We don't have to prove a thing as a conference. And I'm probably going to hate myself in the morning for cheering for the Aggies, but whatever...
I would also like to point out that even if no SEC team makes it to the championship game, it would have taken another SEC team to break the string. The upper tier SEC teams are still proving impossible for any out-of-conference team to beat.
I had quite an interesting experience tonight, found myself rooting for Notre Dame, as bad as I have always hated Notre Dame, I am now rooting for them to win so that Bama misses out on the BCS Championship Game! That goes for the others as well. I am very excited to see Alabama's D play the way they have the last few weeks!
I'm hoping for a UGA thrashing of the gumps. As for The Streak... 8/14 is pretty impressive, and 5 of those from one Division. We've proven our dominance. Think maybe it's fime for the SEC to bring in VT, Flor State, Ga Tech and Miami. Leave college football, and hold our own season, playoff and NC. Phuk the rest of college football, their just pretending anyway.
