Dude, now you are reaching for anything. That argument can be made for some 20-30 programs. So, with that, the coach you want doesn't exist, because with the exception of 2 programs, by your logic they all underperformed. Stop it please.
But does the responsibility, and therefore credit, to amass that talent not also fall on the coach? For the record, I get your criticisms. The offense has sucked. To me, the most important issue here, is that we have a known commodity in Les Miles. He will be entering into his 7th year, and I think 6 years is a large enough sample size to expect more of the same. And if more of the same means 10+ wins, we should be grateful. Who knows what 2010 would have looked like had we hired someone else after Saban left. IMO, Les Miles has done an exemplary job of assembling talent for a 2011 and 2012 run by redshirting almost the entire top ranked 2009 class, bringing in another class of arguably equal quality in 2010, and now addressing needs in 2011. This team will be as talented as any LSU team of the last decade for the next several years. It was Les Miles that did that.
A well coached team from top to bottom that gets every last drop of talent out of its players while having 7, 8, 9 wins....see Navy, Air Force, & Army. Those are the only 3 programs in the country that do this almost every season. I'd rather strap into the roller-coaster every August and enjoy the ride!
The fact that your posts haven't changed is why I called you a post turtle. If I was walking in a field and saw a turtle sitting on a post, I'd have no idea how it got where it was. Just like I have no idea how your opinions got where they are. I just don't understand the mentality that winning is less important than looking good. But I agree you are not a troll like TC or SIU. Also Kal-L > Kal-El!!!
