I agree 100%... but I also think the major issues started with the collapse of our Offense this season... last year was the defense as we could score the needed points to win but couldn't stop anyone... but now we can barely score points.
We have no timeouts due to constant false starts... we have a ton of injured seniors, and our OC sucks dingleberries... I don't know whats needed to right the ship, but imo it starts with an OC that can move the ball more then 3 and Outs then punt... unfortunately we'll still have GC next week and then in our bowl game. But if we play like this in our bowl, we'll lose our 1st OOC game in 5 seasons after finishing basically 4th in the SECW and that's not good enough imo.

See, I didn't mind that. I wasn't that crazy about the timing, but then again, we weren't stopping their offense. And honestly, if the kick was just a tad softer, we had it. We were very close to getting it as it was. So at least there was some thinking and strategy going on there and some creativity and a surprise element. Cause God knows we're not seeing much creativity on offense. Although the spiking of the ball was quite surprising...

As for the play if we would have called a timeout...I think we would have basically needed a hail mary either way because I think it was 4th and 26. The real issue is the fact that nobody on the sideline apparently thought to call a timeout while 17 seconds ticked off.

No, our team did not play so well that anyone would have said they deserved to win. But they COULD have won. And it happens every week in football. Ole Miss did a lot of dumb stuff too even though they looked much better on both sides of the ball.

I mean, hell, if I took away all the games I didn't think LSU really deserved under Les, the record wouldn't be too pretty.

I wasn't upset so much that we lost because I sort of expected it. I was just upset that we really did end it like that.

I heard speculation that someone saw the local statetrooper behind Miles tapped him on the shoulder to let him know that he had a timeout so he then took it with 9 sec left. If that is true this dude's head and all other coaches are not in the game. Hire the trooper. lol Anyone saw this?
