Ideas to improve upon this GREAT forum

    Well, I've gone pretty easy on you despite some posts that were insulting and negative towards LSU. Now, I know that was "a complete waste of time". You're' a guest on an LSU forum. So act like one or go find some greener pastures.

    I would like to see a Coaching changes forum done right now just for the interim until the DC is decided.

    Clean up the clutter on here.

    The football season is about to start and I recalled this thread. I didn't make a suggestion earlier, but to improve the forum grad needs to post the stat that shows how few folk are contributors. Maybe folks will show their gratitude and kick in a few dollars. $20 bucks a year isn't a pay forum, it is a maintenance fee for those so inclined to help out.

    Would that get anything extra for me as a registered contributing user? Don't really care if I do or do not. I don't want TF to be like other forums. They may be bigger and generate more income for the owners, but they lack the atmosphere that is uniquely TF.

    If more folk step up to the plate then Brett won't have the pressure to do things that might change the character of TF just to stay viable. I never owned a site, but helped mod one, and the time that took tells me that the man and his volunteers deserve the support of folk who want to be regular users.

    So in a nutshell, my idea to improve a great forum is for everyone to contribute and say thanks to Brett and the mods for making this by far the most entertaining forum around.

    As I stated earlier, football season is beginning. If you stay here until the bowl season is over it would only be a touch over a dollar per week. Stay until NSD and you are under a buck.

    I guess I could go on, thinking of different ways to say the same thing, but you get the point.

    As a "football only" fan, I'd love to see sports-specific sub-forums. So under Tiger's Den, I'd like to see "Football", "Basketball", "Baseball", etc. (Or if there's not enough posts to justify so many, how about "Football" and "Other Sports"). Maybe have a contributor-only forum where we can discuss new secret handshakes and the best ways of sneaking booze into Tiger Stadium.
