    Duck

you will not answer my base question

    OHIO STATE - AUBURN

if you could not handle those 2 how are you going to handle LSU?

what are you going to do different ?

Well, that is a good question, I didn't realize that I was avoiding it.

Against Ohio St. What killed the Duck's other than turnovers, was Pryor making too many long 3rd down conversions. Throwing on the run, and long runs after being flushed out of the pocket. I don't fear this type of play from the LSU quarterbacks.

Auburn had Cam Newton, LSU doesn't.

It's clear to me now,.. I'm delusional about the Auburn game. I think we should have destroyed them, but we didn't. I could make a dozen points about what went wrong, but I won't. I would like to have seen that game played a second time.

Maybe that's not a good answer.

When we beat LSU, I won't have to answer that question anymore.

Lsu's defense is going to be damn tough , duck. Our offense is an unknown but our defense is world class. All those stats that you used in another thread to compare our defense to yours need to be put in context. We get those stats playing in the sec! We also play ranked out of conference teams. It's harder to put out great stats when you play the competition we play. I could only imagine what LSU's record could be playing an PAC 12 schedule.

It is a mistake to assume LSU cannot make big plays.

It is a mistake to imagine that LSU has no dangerous talent.

    Duck

    write it down

2011 is the year of a Great D at LSU

    2009 OSU D
    2010 Auburn D
    2011 LSU D

LSU will be #1 compared to those 2 Ds

    major problem for you guys

on the O side you will not be able to handle our rush without cheating and our 5th year QB will make the check to make you pay

    I expect your D to be damn tough, and your running game also. And you have a good quarterback, as Chip Kelly said;

".....“Jarrett Lee is a good quarterback,” Kelly said Saturday. “He’s played in over 25 games in his career there. He’s thrown over 2,600 yards. He played as a redshirted freshman and threw for the most yards of any freshman in LSU history. You just have to watch the second half of the Florida game last year when he rallied them back and threw a touchdown pass with six seconds to go on an unbelievable back-shoulder throw. So he’s a real proven kid; he’s the son of a coach. Was a highly recruited kid coming out of high school; a really talented kid.
“They’re different styles. He’s more of a drop-back guy than the runner that Jordan was, but (Lee’s) a proven kid who’s played in a lot of football games. He’s a senior, so he has a lot of experience. It’s going to be a challenge.”.....

I know LSU is top notch, when I earlier mentioned 42 pts by the 4th quarter, I was talking about a blowout situation, and that could happen.

On the other hand, If LSU's running game is unstoppable, and if your physical D has it's way with our line. Then the blow out could go the other way, say LSU 35-10.

Still haven't decided on an absolute final prediction.

Just saying how Pryor and Newton, are big and fast and threw well on the run against us. They were the type of QB's who beat us. LSU's QB's aren't like that.

I don't think we will blow the ducks away. I don't think the ducks will blow us away either. It will end up being a fourth quarter comeback for someone. One team will just barely get the win. It will be a great game. Youre a great ambassador for your school and your team. We will miss having a quality poster like you around. Your fun and insightful. Thanks duck.
