I would take a guess and say that a consensus might show, that sunshine pumpers tend to be more the veterans of many football campaigns. But with numbers, comes youth. So perception could be changing.
Very true. No one cares about losers. Successful people are always targets because it makes them more "like us", to some. There's also always the jealousy factor...human nature.

That 24 hour enjoy the victory - 24 hour cry about the defeat thing seems to not be in affect. Football is like everything else in this world today. Some folks are just plain unhappy about life. I find it difficult to believe that the majority of Tiger fans that understand what it takes to run a major college football program think the program is heading in the wrong direction. Got to be some reason the recruits keep coming and the tigers keep winning. I know, I know ........ we are winning in spite of ..............
