I'm stoked. The game was a hell of a game, lots of excitement and action. However, I'm not sure what's more entertaining - that spectacle or logging on here and viewing the posts by all the capricious Tiger fans.
Yes I think we can all agree with that. The method by which he got there is obviously debatable. The right thing to do was call an immediate timeout with 1:20 and then I would actually run a play with 11 of my regular offensive players on 4th down, but that's me. But to let the clock run down to 30 seconds and then use your last timeout and then plan a fake fg, just to give yourself a chance to score a TD was bizarre beyond imagination. It's a win. That's all I care about. We have a passing game. A LEGIT passing game. We will be a force down the stretch. We'll just have to cringe every time in the last 2 minutes is all. Enjoy the rest of the season.
He also played not to lose for much of the 2nd half putting himself in that position. LSU shouldn't be in many of these cardiac-ending games to begin with.
For a while I thought I was hallucinating a bobbling lesticle on the ground before Jasper coolly picked it up without any waste of time. Boy , that was close.
It's not so much the manic/depressive disorder of some fans but the ones that can't enjoy it for what it is. I can't find fault in anything I saw tonight...the game had it's ups and downs but some people will see doom and gloom from an exciting win.
I didn't see that; but, any time you can leave the swamp with a "W" you take it and go...with a smile.
Exactly; I was going crazy with getting Jefferson in in the 4th QTR when he was no longer effective running the ball with #34; the Gators figured them out. Lee had been quite consistent with moving the ball if there had not been too many running plays called when he is in. Instead they kept on running the ball and call the pass when forced to..
