I think CLM is feeling the pressure on Harris.

I've never seen him so subdued on a post game interview.

I guess it was just too much for him to admit, ... he's been wrong in his choice of QB, he knows it, the fans know it, ... the team knows it.

Jennings is a good kid, but Harris obviously is the better talent. This is a tad different from the JJ/JL scenario, where neither was significantly better than the other. CLM could get away with it then, ... but he's going to have a hard time sticking with "his pick" against the reality that the offensive performace is night and day comparing Jennings and Harris.

It's a very difficult situation for a coach. You get close to your kids. It's like having one child excel in sports while another struggles. Difference here is Miles gets big bucks to pull the trigger.

Harris has forced miles hand and that means Leslie might have to finally give up the reins to the offense. It's a punch to the gut to the ear wax sniffing grass eating water head.

Maybe that's part of the problem. Miles is the head coach, not their dad or their friend. He did more harm to the kid by leaving him in there. The players may love playing for him because of his loyalty to them, but the way I see it, his loyalty is to the team, not individuals. If he says he has to give the team the best chance for victory, then he and players need to quit taking shit personally. Pulling a guy who's not producing is not being disloyal.

I didn't think Jennings was given a chance in the passing game to this point, however he squandered his opportunity last night. Next man up.

Youre not doing players any favors by coddling them into the ground. These kids need to learn or they won't make it to/in the next level. Jennings would be better served by sitting a bit and reflecting compared to getting boo'd off the field. Same will go when/if Harris struggles. Doesn't mean you hate them and they suck forever, it means you're trying to help the team and players succeed.

I agree. I was responding to his being subdued in the post-game presser, not whether he should've pulled him or not.

Harris has shown the country that he is the starting QB. Hopefully he has shown Miles that also. Miles has said that Harris may look good in the game but there are other factors at play. Practice performance I guess.

Harris has that fluid motion when running like the really good read option guys have. He seems to slide past tacklers and get more yards than looks like is there. His throws get to the receivers quickly and he distributed the ball to several different guys.

Opinion has and will never be higher for him. Hopefully he can handle that pressure. It looks like Jennings has buckled under the pressure.
