thats exactly what i said. they will go cheap and even so they will miss out on whomever they put atop their list. odds are it wont be herman. we were this close <==> to having jimbo and actually had him but we reneged.

They finally got the guy they wanted then ran. They cant even get it right when the other party agrees. thats how bad they are.

but yeah neither sumlin nor strong are safe. long season. les may win 11 reg season games still.

I don't know how good they are as coaches but I like both these men. At least they LOOK like a dam coach.

Let's hire Tom Berenger. He looked like a coach when he played the role of Bear Bryant in Junction Boys.

You make some very good points. It is far too early to pass judgement on either UT or A & M after one game. Looking back to last year, we were ranked in the top 4 in the first playoff poll and ended up going to the toilet bowl and wanting to fire our coach.

Unfortunately for us, that game Saturday had the feel of the beginning of the end for the "golden age" of LSU football. I would say we could rebound from that dismal performance, but it doesn't feel like we will.

The thought of Alleva making our next football hire is scary, however.

Whoever we hire--just don't let him be ugly.

Be dam, I was coming to post that he needs to meet your approval on the hawtness part. Kiffen's too immature for you but I can see you with Sark. He's more distinguished.

Jimbo, he couldn't keep up with you.

Besides for an ass load of cash what reason would any coach half worth a crap come here to get bitched at because he can't beat Bama? As for money does LSU actually have the cash? I'm beginning to wonder.
