I would be shocked if LSU was able to lure Fisher back to Baton Rouge. He's getting everything he wants at FSU, and has another playoff contender this season. With this freshman QB he has, FSU will be competing for titles a lot easier and more often then he would be at LSU. But I would welcome him with open arms if he came back to town.

Fisher is an outstanding coach . I think his team's are borderline convicts but I usually leave games early so I doubt any will have time to rob me in parking lot. Fisher would be top choice . Herman is also excellent . I do not want the hunt to be a hat dance - prominent name mentioned- hopes build up and it ends up being Joe Jerk Off from Tampon State.

He's insane if he leaves FSU. He has tons of money, a great recruiting base, national exposure, and only one really good team to worry about in Clemson. His path to the NC or at the very least, a major bowl game, is far easier than at LSU. In addition, FSU fans, boosters, and admins are willing to put up with crap out of his players that those at LSU never would stand for.

Isn't his agent Jimmy Sexton? Sexton will take the call and play LSU like a yo-yo to either get a huge raise from FSU or a huge contract with somebody else. It's gonna be HUUUUGGE

I certainly agree with the last sentence! I have to think getting Fisher to move to LSU one year after what appeared to be a mutual interest, and having it be known, would be tough. That would embarrass FSU. They've accomplished quite a bit together. We had our chance last year. But he will have a harder time getting the best Florida talent now that Richt is at Miami and UF is on the rebound.
