I thought the o line couldve given us a better chance.

The defense did their job and i Couldnt ask for anything more. The guy held the db- it was like pass int aubirn all over again. Oh well.

We have tremendous weapons but they cant be effective if the oline isnt doing their job and the o playcalling isnt effective.

Id rather lose to the number one team than anyone else.

Ill even give a win to ala. But thats it. And we win out and go10-2 at worst 9-3

congrats tiger d. You get my game ball

I blame Jefferson for holding the ball too long and the coaches for allowing so many sacks to happen. Granted, the OLine was disappointing, as was the DLine. But I can agree the defense was fairly stout despite the game being controlled by Florida on both sides of the ball.

When I say I blame Jefferson, I assign him the mechanical fault but can understand that from a sophmore QB. I'm less understanding when it comes to the coaches who should realize the situation and compensate for it.

I decided to post here because I liked the thread title. It speaks from my heart because I do love the Tigers. I do however think we have the wrong guy starting at QB. You all have fun with that one but I deep down in my soul think we have the wrong dude running the show. Think about it, JJ is a horrible option QB. He strecthes it out waaaaaaaaaaay too far and leaves the option back absoloutely NO option. Other than that what is his value? He may have the stronger arm but he can't throw the deep ball. Its not like the coaches will let him do it any GD way. So if he can't run the option, and he can't throw the deep ball WHAT THE EFFFFF IS HE DOING IN THE GAME? I've held my tongue until now but I've had enough. It is not entirely Lee's fault that 10 other mother scratchers couldn't tackle someone after they picked off a pass last year. The play calling sucks, the defense is playing their asses off and the coaches are out to lunch on the offensive side of the ball. I am out!

I think the major problem with JJ was that he had Florida Players breathing down his back all night...he really didn't have too much time to hold on to the ball too long.

Florida has the best defense in the SEC (don't know what the stats are) I think they're better than Bama's D after tonight.

Coming into the game UF had only allowed two td's all season long. So their defense is for real. Tiger fans need to realize that not all is LSU's fault, UF's defense had also something to say about that.

I think that's why we all feel so frustrated right now.

I am STILL proud of my Tigers. I was hoping we'd win and we definitely had our chances to take this game. I'd be willing to bet that no one else this season plays Florida as close as we did.

The sports reporting world kept keeping up the drumbeat that we were terribly over rated. I think we proved to most of them that we were not as over rated as they claimed. If we drop below 10th place, I'll be somewhat surprised.

We're still a damned strong team!
