I really don't think we should have been or are the #1 team in the country The problem is I don't know who is. Regardless of today's outcome, we have played just about every one close the last 6 weeks in the SEC. I realize it's a tough conference but I haven't seen separation. I feel like we are living on borrowed time. That time could/did come today. Arkansas had a good plan today...stop the run and make MF throw the ball.
My point is regardless of what happens we have not been a complete team all year. That's hard to say with a 10-1 record but we have not separated ourselves from the teams we played the last 6 weeks.
I agree....too many close calls with supposed lest talented teams. Especially Bama. Ooops....check that...Hester just scored!! LOL
This had nothing to do with heart. Pelini sat back and let Casey freakin' Dick pitch a tent on 4th and 10. Then when it's obvious we need to pass they blitz. Coaching. Pelini enjoy your trip to Nebraska. Your defense has been pounded 3 of the last 4 weeks. No pressure at all.
Problem with that is, who is? No one is dominating out there. We had it in our hands and couldn't win against Arkansas at home. We should have come out fired up and ready to destroy. We get the ball in great territory three straight times and come away with 6.
