Absolutely right, and sorry for my contribution to the hijack. I think everyone is clear on what's been said already. I hope you come back here after your blog is published. I am sure several of us will be anxious to read it.:thumb:
OOOHHH!!!! TB3 nice contribution...now we just need a history buff to tell the story correctly! I could but it would have be from my fathers mouth which WILL be quite exaggerated!! So I will let somebody more knowledgable about the facts not the folk lore tell it!
oh and I don't know what he was talking about with the black jersey thing but who cares we'll ignore that part because his next idea was a GREAT contribution and I want this to be a good thread! So come on you real history buffs...tell us about how some (namely one) of our poloticians have been the biggest LSU fans! Great stories!
As Arnold would say, "I'll ge back!" Sorry, I promisised myself long ago that I would never do that :insane:

My rationale: the SEC football experience is the best in the country and LSU is the best in the SEC. http://misterirrelevant.com/index.p...lumnist-dixieland-delight-author-clay-travis/
There are no more passionate fans anywhere in football than LSU fans but There is no more a classier fanbase than Nebraska's, hands-down.
Look at it like this: Everybody in the U.S. has heard of Bourbon Street, right? What's so great about it? We block the street off and have a big street party every weekend. What other city in the U.S. does that? And what's the biggest party in America? Mardi Gras, right? Who throws the party? Louisiana people. If we throw a street party every week on Bourbon, and throw this annual world-renowned party for a bunch of parades, what do you think we do for LSU Tiger home football games? And what do you think we do inside Tiger Stadium when we see our boys play?
