Well, Lee's not playing at Jackmeoff St. because he's not an idiot thugging around (at least not yet anyway). RP had a winning Lotto ticket and he threw it away. I don't know if it's more sad or dumb.

Yes, the guy had great POTENTIAL. Sadly, he didn't fulfill it at LSU. He did help us win a NC though with his SECCG performance. So at least he has that (although he did almost blow the Auburn game for us). We only got to see a glimpse of his potential. I think we would have definitely been more confident with him, but I also thought he was overhyped when I saw him play. He had a canon for an arm, but I was expecting Vick moves or speed. He was a good, solid runner. But to me, not unbelievable. I was more impressed with his arm. But in college, you have to actually work and learn the plays. You can't just dominate based on your high school stats. I hope the guy has learned a lesson and does okay for himself, but leave it be already. That's all I'm trying to say...

Let's not rehash it. Coach Miles did what he had to do. I believe he gave RP so many chances because he didn't want to endure a season with totally green QB's.

But, hey, we're 5-1 right now, and many people (preseason) had us losing to AU and Florida, so we're a game up there right now.

as long as the user agreement is followed, everyone has the right to make an ass of themself.

and judging by a lot of posts the last couple of weeks, that right is being freely exercised.

I miss having a seasoned junior quarterback leading our team this year. I don't miss RP. We will take our lumps this year at QB but every snap that J-Lee takes is an investment in our future, which in my opinon is ver bright.

I am sure the Rams would have enjoyed Lawrence Phillips this year. He would have provided a nice change in pace when Jackson went out.

Too bad though that Lawrence Phillips deserves to be in prison.
