I meant to share this hypothetical schedule two weeks ago and forgot: More permanent opponents...

Bit of a mischaracterization there considering it was a vote—all schools participating—making it where that it wouldn't happen again. There was no "caving to Bama" because the appeal for relief wasn't approved. There is no "caving to Bama" because the rule applies to all SEC schools.

Let's see how the next two end up before saying this.

So far, it's favored Bama. We don't know who you'll draw in 2014 or 2015 while all indications say we'll be pulling UF then UGA.

It very well may end up with you pulling Mizzou and Vandy (just examples) in those two seasons.

But, as answered before, all that's been said is how it was made...and, as answered before, it wasn't the best PR move to use the phrase "luck of the draw—" even with it being a draw.

Slive said during the meetings they hoped to have the schedules out that week or at the latest the following week...and we're still waiting.

So...when a team loses a ball game it's now called "caving."

    Missed that change in vernacular.

What was it called back in 2007, choking or caving? I certainly need some sort of time line to put all of this together...

No, when a title contender loses a game to the other contender in their own house, traditionally they have been eliminated. But Bama got a mulligan.

Because other teams ranked ahead of them after that loss, lost. Hardly a mulligan.

They had not lost to the #1 team, but Bama already had.

That argument would work a lot better if for some reason it cost LSU an opportunity to play in the NC. But here LSU was in all their glory and all they had to do was reach out and take it. No one can argue who was the better team. And short of those who speak with a Cajun accent, no one does.

If you're trying to determine the one team most deserving of a spot in a national championship game, and you're being impartial, what the hell difference does it make when the loss occurred. A loss is a loss is a loss, and Bama had already lost to LSU. On its home turf. They certainly were not more deserving of a second chance than a one-loss conference champion was of a first chance.

You're on an LSU board, not providing a different point of view, but bragging and just trying to troll, insulting our program.
