Fishman, you got to stop living in the past. If that were simply the rule, LSU would have lost hope of every winning against Bama in BR again. I really don't see the need for talking heads, football fans and Las Vegas to explain the importance of home field advantage to me. Seeing is believing.
WOW! Now that's rich from you, man! True enough... The point is...YOU brought home field advantage into the discussion as to why Alabama would win. Not me. I'm simply pointing out facts that prove home field advantage plays little part in this series. You know it, I know it, but you need to make yourself sleep better between now and Saturday...so you're ignoring it. It's all good...you know I'm just jacking with you. :thumb:
We all need to take a moment and reflect A Bama fan(Tusk ) is telling LSU fans ""Fishman, you got to stop living in the past" reflect pause Now you can laugh your ass off !!!!! Tusk your old coach is dead It is not 1973 Nick is Not going to run over the SEC like the Bear did You can't pay off the officials at all Bama home games - well we can work on that one After Les beats Nick one more time he will take his seat in the back of the bus trying to keep up with LSU and Les Miles - the best coach in the SEC and he will have the hardware to prove it !!!
The reality of it all is, there were two guys ... I think one's name is Danny somthin ... not sure .. and the other guy is the italian looking dude with glasses ... last name starts with an L. The italian dude, gave the advantage to LSU ... Danny .. gave it to Bama. However, BOTH of these guys have Bama beating LSU, and a LOT OF THAT is Saban worship. [which is fricken hilarious, IMO] I tend to agree with the fact that D vs D is rediculous. QB vs QB is rediculous. Trent vs Ware is rediculous. Even CLM vs Saban is rediculous. I keep hearing that Bama brings a "balanced attack". Yet .. take Trent out of the equation .. and what is Bama left with?? Not much on offense! Lacey is good, Maize is good ... McCarron is good ... but they aren't great. What really gets me .... is that while their is not but a FG's difference in the Points Allowed between these two teams [and even less when strength is figured in] ... for some reason, the Media and of course Bama fans "pretend" that Bama's D will just completely shut LSU's offense down [even though LSU's offense has scored just as many points as Bama's] ...BUT .. LSU's defense, ITO, won't be able to even touch Bama's offense. I know what the deal is. It's all in this "god worship" of Richardson. It's the perception that the guy doesn't even need an O-Line ..just give him the ball, and if he doesn't make the Defender miss, .. well it won't matter, because the defender won't be able to tackle him. .. he's just untackleable. Like I said ... I'm glad LSU is the underdog. I"m glad Bama is "cocky" about it all. It explains their slow starts out of the gate the last two games ...as they seem to be getting the "Mighty Casey" syndrome. Don't be suprised if Mighty Casey strikes out in the end. Any team can be beat ... even by lessor opponents ... just ask OU. :geaux:
Back to that "balanced" thing .... LSU: TDs. Ware - 6 Ford - 6 Randle - 7 Becham 2 Jefferson - 2 Bama: TDs. Richardson - 17 Lacy - 5 Maize - 1 Hanks - 1 Anyone besides me notice a glaring "inbalance" in these numbers?? Shut down Richardson [which I know, Bama Fans and the Media can't seem to fathom such ... "all hail Trent Richardson" .... but .. shut him down, and there's just not a whole lot left over.
Lacey does all the work and they pull him at the 10 yard line and let TR get the TD ... Go back into the games "Play by Play" for Bama and you'll see how TR got his yardage & TDs AND AGAINST WHO ... last I heard, Lacey was playing hurt and is STILL HURTIN TR is in for some serious PAIN Saturday
This! Richardson, Richardson, Richardson. I'd rather come to the field with 22 players that are all 8s and 9s than 22 players where 1 or 2 of them are 10s and most of the rest 6s and 7s. That's why LSU is the poster child for TEAM this year. One goes down, another steps in. One having a bad day, another steps up. One needs a rest, no problem and no drop off. Kinda reminds me of Mr. Smith in the Matrix -- the Tigers just keep coming. Time to "Roll up the Tide" and smoke'em (and we have just the players who can do that). :geaux:
Not wishing for it, but what if TR gets hurt the first series? In a Bama fans head, Lacy quickly becomes a Heisman Candidate
