See my post to uscvball below about what USC QB Paul McDonald said about the facemask call. As bad as that was the offsides was much worse.
Missing the point, Trigger. You said it was "petty". That's not under consideration based on the rules at the time. It either happens or it doesn't. Freeze at .04....that's a grab. "Human memory doesn’t work like a camera, capturing the details of a scene, saving them, and then retrieving them when we need them. Our memories are often distorted by our schemas and other factors. Schemas are things we have learned throughout our lives, and are expectations that our brains have about how the world works, in particular situations. If we can’t recall a piece of information when trying to remember something, our mind will replace it with something else. We automatically “fill in the gaps”, so to speak, with facts that we expect to be there, not with what actually was there. When this happens, memories become skewed." Who is hiding? Maybe you should untuck once in awhile and get over yourself.
That's not a grab. This video reinstated my belief that it was a bogus call. It's worse than the Patrick Peterson interception call vs Alabama. The rest of the world hates us. I don't know why. Maybe y'all are jealous of our food.
and I think the world revolves around Eugene, when in truth, the world barely knows it exists,.. the world doesn't hate you, it simply doesn't care
If they don't care why do they continually screw us with bad calls? Saints vs Rams, LSU vs Texas A&M and on and on. Even Cleveland gets a break now and then.
every team has fans that think god's out to get them,.. for every ecstatic fan, there's another who's near suicidal
It's been going on forever. I was at a game in the 70's. LSU and Alabama were deadlocked in a scoreless time late in the 4th quarter and Alabama was driving. Refs called holding on Alabama. Bear Bryant walked out on the field (should have been a penalty for that) and got in the refs face. Ref actually reversed the call and kept the Bama drive alive. They end up kicking a field goal and ee lose 3-0.
In 1962, at Huskie stadium, Oregon's Larry Hill was attempting to catch a pass in the end zone to win the game, but was tackled by Washington fans who had rushed onto the field,.. no penalty, game over, Ducks lose
I honestly hope you are shiftin and don’t really believe that. I pegged you as being more open- minded than that, and, as such, would expect you to know ALL fans can cite more than a “bad” call. You remember the year we had “no losses in regulation”?
