I listened to a podcast with Jim Kleinpeter and Jordy Hultburg, and Jim seems to think that this will be Les' last season unless he somehow makes the final 4. He said LSU will probably work something out with him basically forcing him to "retire" at the end of next season. Personally I don't see it. What do y'all think?

They blew their wad this year. If they were ever going to get rid of him now was the time. I don't trust them to have the brains or the balls to force Les to do anything. I wouldn't be surprised if Les outlasts them all.

I am done with Jim Kleinpeter's predictions about anything.

Look at how he evades any comment referring to the fact that he said it was 100% certainty that Miles was gone. http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2015/12/les_miles_decision_about_more.html

"Instead of keeping it quiet, they made it public with leaks to the media."

Oh yeah, we can't question the sources. It's really amazing the mental gymnastics he goes through to avoid saying, "my sources were wrong and so was I."

I don't think Stoops would be any less likely to take us to the Playoff than Jimbo. Less likely to take the job though.

I have been HOPING for chatter about the possibility of LSU being a better team next season . With 5 to 7 players I think we need . But oh no not ready for that are we it seems .
I agree with Les and who ever Joe is
"Let us win all the time " You might say is my silent prayer before each game . but it ain't gonna happen , Some would say I am unthankful for the time we have had with "OUR PLAYERS who are now playing in the BIG BUCK games the pros . I am not but I am a jealous loser .
Now I will give you my 2nd silent prayer before and after each game .
"Open our fans mental eyes so thy can see and understand why we are not playing for a NC "
We are so proud of them we have more and have had more talent than most teams will ever see .
Oh well my intention was to stir the pot , but no need for that . The problem I see @ LSU is not coaching . But on the pros who gave us the dream of a NC each year . They did not commit to a winning NC team but to themselves , they did not care about being on a NC team, but it was about helping me and I .

I am I think like all who come in here , wanting and thinking we have a NC team in BR now . But I say we need 5 to 8 knocked down bad ass kicking players @ their position who want to join and help develop a NC team . Players who will commit to making that happen and who want to be a NC . The BIG $$$$ will be waiting for them !! Go ahead and prove me wrong

Next year they'll follow the UGA model?

On the next episode of Bloody Red Stick...

Is FuKing A going to release the hostages (Alleva and the Athletic Dept)? Sure we have a dem Governor, but the legislature also has too agree to A's terms. And like a true villain, whatever he gets A will probably keep asking for more.

The other factor is the deranged Less Smiles. It seems very likely that we will watch the bottom fall out next year. It seems very likely we will see a mass exodus of his henchmen to the No Fun League. If he somehow orchestrates a slump buster or even keeps his organization from falling apart, I think he'll be untouchable. Smiles will have to unleash chaos to meet the axe.
