Absolutely correct....especially for all of us who lived through the 90's when the highlight of the decade is possibly a single victory over a #1 Florida in 1997.
My wife said last night I was jumping up and down screaming " we just kicked their arse" hand in hand with my seven year old son all the while he saying " yea! We just kicked their arse daddy, we kicked their red arse!". She said she sat their with her hands over her head thinking about what was happening. I don't really remember it like that being the heat of the moment and all. I can't fuss at him because I wasn't being a good example. At least he's a tiger fan I guess.
LMAO. Just relayed this to my wife and 8 year-old son. I've had to learn a lot of restraint over the years, but some moments call for a little old-school expression. :hihi:
So what exactly was the problem? Consider my predicament. I'm not allowed to watch LSU football games in the family room (55" HD TV) because I scare the dogs!
Great post. I realized that next saturday (before kickoff) will make three weeks that LSU hasn't scored a TD.
PRICELESS, Rw. Thanks for sharing that! (I was typing like mad with you guys on Chat & my wife thought I was insane when I jumped up and told her, "Look at Alleman--LOOK NOW! We are gonna win this FCKING THING RIGHT FCKING NOW"). A great post. Thanks again!
