They played great today and were the better team. It is not their fault that their OC is jimbo fisher and that the refs were horrible. With the game being at Auburn, I knew the refs were going to be bad so that doesn't bother me. Only scoring 3 points is not ultimately the refs fault or the players fault. Most of the blame should be on the coaches.

I feel bad for the players. They played a great game and didnt seem to be on the most level playing field... but just curious what would you have done differently than fisher

I wouldnt shoot down JF just yet...remember Lou Tepper and the AU DEF had a little advantage today.

Agreed, We've won a lot more games with JF as offensive coordinator than we lost but I had 1 thought after the game.
AU had trick plays and I kept waiting for ours but they never happened that I recall.

The question is what Jimbo could have done different? Flynn sould have played the opening series of the third quarter. The QB draw would have been very effective. A combination of QB draws, flat passes to backs, slants and use of the TE in the middle of the field would have been a necessary change of pace. Last, we should have run a reverse to Early and used some mis-direction.

Before I can give this statement any credibility, I'll need you to state your qualifications please.

I really wish we would not bash our coaches. Any of us can question a play call here and there, but remember that we were pretty excited about our coaches and team last week. Let's not lose our perspective. A great season is still in store for us--it's just that a NC isn't likely now. Disappointing, but not devastating.

    Interesting, no??

Anyone reckon it's not the OC that's the problemo?

    Is it, really?

I remember this thread, and that day. We faced a very good Auburn defense and got totally jobbed on numerous occasions. We had the 11th ranked total offense and the 9th ranked scoring offense in the country that year. Bad comparison.
