Panthers need all the help they can get, I hope they get him.... Plus he will be there with Lafell. I think Panthers will either get him, or maybe Bowers.. Unless they decide to go QB....

I'd rather see Brees match wits with PP twice a year than have to duck Nick Fairley 2x.

Not a Jimmy Clausen fan? The owner forced that draft pick supposedly.

yep. The panthers are so bad, no one needs to pass on them, so they would be really wasting a pick with a db...uhm...on second thought.....

What are you talking about with this wasted draft pick thing? I never said anything remotely closed to that and am wondering how someone as seemingly intelligent as you could possibly glean that from what I wrote.

It sounds like you just want PP to go No.1 overall. It would be great if that happened, for him and for LSU. But historically, bad teams have always selected QBs first. See for yourself. There's a reason only one DB has every been selected with the No.1 overall pick (Gary Glick, Safety, Colorado A&M, 1956 - Steelers). Yes, I googled it. :D

Unless there is a Peyton Manning coming up, I would always trade away my #1 spot. Carolina could trade down a couple times and have draft picks coming out of their ears. I'd rather bring in an average vet at qb and surround him with young playmakers than have that one high draft pick with the same ****ty players around him.

Dude...I wasn't even thinking of your post. My comment was at Panthers, they have a big decision to make, and based on their pics, historically, they will blow it, in effect waste one. Did not mean to get you fired up, nothing like that intended at all. Sorry.
