Chavis was always pretty good against gimmicky offenses. And many Pac 10 offenses would fall into that category.
this is a good point. it was the straight ahead, smash mouth teams that gave his defenses the most trouble.
Any team that can grind out a drive, even if it doesn't end in points. Get em tired just like what happened when he was here
I only care about the yardage, the anomaly would be if they didn't pick up a collection of of say 3rd and 8 or more
This is me not respecting Pac 10 offenses. They beat each other up, but not so much when they play schools from the SEC.
