So buying a ticket, a tee shirt or anything else with LSU on it doesn't go towards paying Miles salary? That sound like the guy that said "you didn't build that"! Well I sure helped pay for it. Au Contraire! If you pay taxes in Louisiana you are helping to pay the coaches salary. If you buy tickets to the games you are paying the coaches salary. If you buy a logo cap or T Shirt you are indirectly paying the coaches salary. A coach is a public employee. He should be required to explain his reasoning for decisions that seem contrary to common sense. I don't mean he should give away his game secrets to the opposing teams but even a smart ass remark like Steve Spurrier is prone to making would be better than uncommunicable gobbledegook.
Public employees are not required to answer to each member of the public. Such an idea is absurd. You pay a microscopic part of my salary, too and I don't have to tell you shit. I just have to do the job to the satisfaction of my boss. If not, I get fired and I still don't have to tell you shit.
Nobody is going to pay to watch you do your job. You might be a public employee but you are not in the public eye like Les Miles is. And I don't give a shit what you do and I wouldn't want to know about it unless I got paid to listen.
