Not really a major issue, in the big scheme of things, I suppose, but, I have never liked Toonces and I have never liked the "LSU" font that goes with Toonces. None of the "powers that be" at LSU give a darn what an old privateer like me thinks about stuff, so, it looks like we are stuck with Toonces. We need a more fierce-looking tiger face for our icon AND we should use a more old-school font for the LSU letters. Ugh. Now beat the Gators. :LSU231:

And do you ever see anyone wearing Toonces gear? I bet not much. They seem to have no idea how much more money they could make if they didn't use a cartoon character. Most LSU gear I see now by far doesn't include a tiger at all.
i am seeing more and more stuff without toonces tho, at least in terms of clothing. a lot of other things i cant find sans toonces, but i am starting to find clothes with the old style tiger head, and eye of the tiger. primarily t shirts and sweat shirts. what i hate is when i buy something online and no where in the pic do i see toonces. then i get it and that damned psycho feline is on it somewhere.
The place off Drusilla Ln has a lot of gear without toonces. They are not cheap but have really nice stuff. They have a web site and you can order online. I think it's Tiger Mania.
i found a few thing at the tiger mania on highland. i'll check their online store. i had been thinking of checking out the place on drusilla, just hadnt gotten to it. i see it from i-12 when i go back and forth to the north shore whenever i am in town.
I do nt buy Tiger Toonces clothes, but its getting harder and harder to find flags, banners and home/office wall decor without toonces
Looking at the site, it appears that they have much more in store than what is listed on the site. Never been to the one on Highland so I don't know if there is a difference.
