Les Miles Post-Practice Interview - LSUsports.Net Notice his voice. Seems dead after a few practices. Anyway, at the end they mention Gore. From the sounds of it, what are the chances we seem him on special teams? He seems like that would be a good fit for him, but I doubt he seems much, if any PT this year, but who knows right? Les Miles Post-Practice Interview - LSUsports.Net In this video, what I take notice to is PP syaing that they know they are not respected. !!! I know the D is gonna be nasty this year, I feel it!! Overall, they all brought up some key points that often get talked about on here. Looks like there heads are in right place and this team is headed to be a better football team.
it might just be me, but RS and PP seem to be clear leaders just by hearing them speak... I expect great thigns from those 2 this year.
Hell, I think it was Kelvin Sheppard that called RS a "leader as a sophomore" in an interview this past week. This is the year. Gonzales is probably the difference. Plus an older JJ and a better line. But Shep is gonna bust. it. up.
This is the year for what? To show that our young team is a serious national contender for next year, 2011? If these young guys bring the title home this year, that will be one of the best performances of any team in the history of sports. But we have Miles, and he can do that
I think we have the talent to win it all, it is just a matter of the team playing like a team. While young, they can do it, just have to keep mistakes to very low and have some of that good luck go our way.....
i agree. though it would be a great accomplishment, it would NOT be the greatest accomplishment of any sports team ever. this team is as talented as any in the nation, it's all dependent on how it comes together. there are lots of variables to deal with in any given season. with the schedule we have, we could drop two games and still be sitting pretty. of course i'm not sure how the schedules of other teams look. i do know that with boise state starting out so highly and their easy-as-pie schedule that they have probably as good a shot as anyone. you would have to think that a 2-loss, SEC champion LSU team would take boise to the house if that's how it turns out. i don't see any huge question marks. the offense, maybe. but i have said this a few times: look how terrible our offense was last season, look how close we were to beating both florida and bama. i am confident that we will be better in pretty much all phases of the game. with our schedule, 10-2 could find us in quite a lucrative BCS game -- if not the most lucrative.
