Thank You, good night, and drive safely! Saban is pathetic and always will be. I tried to tell the Bama fans here, but they didn't want to listen. It has taken Saban 11 games to do what it has taken Miles 37 games to do........lose 5 games at your new job. Enough said.
I agree with you because I believe CNS is a much more aggressive recruiter that CMS, but it's interesting to note that the current recruiting results don't reflect much of a difference between the two. Supposedly, Saban was going to be the anti-Shula and do a better job of enforcing discipline and "toughening up" Bama's boys. I wonder why DJ Hall didn't serve his "one game suspension" against ULM? At the end of the day, Saban showed his true colors and brought Hall off suspension because Bama was in trouble at the half. At Bama, the end justifies the means ...... been that way for as long as I can remember, and Saban's arrival won't change something that is in Bama's DNA.
The gumps should consider a contract extension for Nick. That would motivate him to coach better against Auburn.
It's time to put overated Saban to where he belongs. 11-2, 11-2, and 10-1 coach Les Miles definitely did better than Saban with "Saban's players". I just hope we can keep him after this season.
Just like we did when he lost to UAB. Of course. This is always true. People who live in glass houses . . . LSU has lost to teams they were supposed to beat and will again. Miami of Ohio, UAB, and others. Best we not be too smug about it.
There was a thread on tidefans.com before the season, to pick the number of wins. Most picked 8, followed by 7. Two people picked 6 wins. If they lose to Auburn, and they will if they play like they have the last two weeks, the Bama nation will be disappointed, big time. 4 mil a year for that is too much.
Once again, you are making comments about the recruiting classes where you are simply wrong. I suppose, you'll come back with the Scout.com comment again but that didn't work out for you last time because you were wrong on both of them. Now, as to this latest assertation that the recruiting results don't reflect much of a difference here are the facts. Shula, if his classes over 4 years landed: 26 - 4 stars 2 - 5 stars. Saban, in his first year (with a few still left on the board) 21 - 4 stars 2 - 5 stars Sure, there isn't a big difference except how long it has taken. FWIW, I did separate the recruits from last years class that committed under Shula and the ones versus Saban. It's clear, by the pic you keep in your sig, a lot of your fan base has Saban on the brain. So does your coaching staff evidenced by the sign hanging in your own locker room. And he has.
