The truth is always somewhere in the middle. Saban may have been overrated as a college coach before this season but he is a major upgrade recruiting and coaching wise over Mike Shula. Saban will have them competitve in two years for the SEC West Title. Too bad Les Miles and LSU will still own the division.

Wow.....what a bunch of losers over there on the Bama boards. They are actually making excuses for him and feeling sorry for him. He is the coach of the team, if they aren't ready to play and the play calling stinks, it is his fault. Yes players make mistakes but much of the blame lays at the feet of the coach. Can you imagine how mad we would be if LSU lost to LA Tech? It would be inexcusable just as it is inexcusable that Bama lost to Monroe.
They should be used to losing to Louisiana teams by now. Hell La tech beat them the last 2 times they played.:wave:
