I fixed that and added the new location into my favorites but am still having issues (go ahead and make your jokes here :hihi. I get the message that I'm on the new server but everytime I move from forum to forum, it's telling me to go to the new server, click here, follow process, etc. I've had to re-do the process several times. I've even logged out, back in, etc. Anyone else?
Same if you go to the "Forum Menu" drop-down menu in the purple menu bar at the top of the screen. I normally use that to jump forum to forum, but now if you use that it will only send you back to the old server. So, currently what I do to jump from forum to forum is use the "TigerForums.com - LSU football - LSU sports - LSU Tigers - LSU message board" link right below it. That keeps you on the new server.
Currently what I do is stay right on this thread and do not move, every once in awhile I refresh to see what people are saying so if anybody would like to address me please do it here as if I get out of here and am lost again! But don't worry Brett, I am not complaining I am sure the smart computer people aren't having the problems I am having! It is what you get when you go looking for some place to read about LSU and stop at the first place you find! Not a lot of time figuring out the computer!
At present time, what happens for me is that: if I'm on the old server, then the purple and gold square "TF" icon appears in front of the url in my web browser. if I'm on the new server, then a modern metallic icon appears in front of the url in my web browser (I assume its the icon of the company that provides us with our server).
The thread title is certainly accurate. It's like getting take backs as a kid. Though as far as really going back in time, I don't know. I checked the mirror and just as many grey hairs as yesterday. I'm feeling cheated.
Other than not being able to use the "Forum Menu" like I described above, I haven't yet seen else out-of-the-ordinary compared to how it was on the old server. I've already visited all the other forums on here (Recruiting, Pro Sports, Round Table, Free Speech, etc.) and there are people on every forum posting new posts today on this new server.
