But Bama did something that LSU NEVER........NEVER does and that's quickly run another play before they get a chance to look at it.
as that play was ending, i looked up and saw we had 1 timeout left and was yelling for les to call a timeout. in fact i said it so many times (freaking out) everyone told me to shut up that les isnt smart enough to call it--since the next play was starting and it was too late. even if it is a catch, you dont have any use for the timeout with 15 secs left. call the timeout and look at it. was hard to tell on the angle cbs showed. gonna be pissed if he really dropped it.
I said same thing and we had 2 60inch TV's sitting next to each other and it was easy to see. Saban knew it and that's why they snapped so fast. Saban literally OWNS Les Miles........there is NOTHING Miles can do about it, he has proven it now several times in a row.
Other terrible calls from my pov. LSU downed a ball at the 1 on a punt that was called a touchback, Trey Quinn about 20 yards over the middle catches one close to the ground, it's called incomplete. There was a phantom PF after the Yeldon fumble. I believe LSU scores 6 from that place if that ridiculous foul isn't called. Also, 2 blatant holds, a face mask, and 1 block in the back weren't called. Then the 2 pi's in OT were missed. LSU123 is right this team is one dimensional, but if LSU makes plays, namely the 2 huge drops by Quinn that ended drives on 3rd downs, Malichi Dupree dropped a third down slant that would have ended up being a 1st but killed drives. Not to mention what would have been Dupree 2nd TD catch if he is aware of the sidelines. Dupree has done that 2 times this season. When you have a qb who struggles throwing the ball like Jennings, receivers can't screw up like they did.
The reason they spiked it was because they had no timeouts and the clock was going to run as soon as the refs spotted the ball. Their spiking it had nothing to do with them trying to "beat" the review.
