Bama has sloppy seconds to LSU with Saban. And yeah, that's the best Bama can hope for.

Bama = trash, and you know it.

LSU has won an SEC championship and a National Championship without Nick. Nick hasn't won squat without LSU.

OK lets put everything on JJ then. The fact is they arent doing anything to make it easier on him. The OL cant keep their blocks to help either. We must establish a run, thats obvious and Im sure both sides would agree thats a key component to a good team. LSU cant run block so we have to spread the field to get our speed guys out in space. Running some type of wild Tiger spread would help. Shepard is a huge possible play maker from 3 positions yet he warms the bench. On the other hand it might not, but we arent trying anything. In 6 games we keep trying the same things only to fail, something has to change.

There is still the issue of the team lacking discipline, which comes from the coach. Far too many penalties. There is also the issue of a lack of coaching up the kids. Plus the fact that the coaches arent sitting a$$es down when they dont perform. Give some playing time to the next in line to see if it sparks some improvement.

Look I really do like Miles. Id love for things to work themselves out. Fact is though I dont see any improvements from last year. I see a team regressing greatly. Something is wrong here.

Last year our D sucked. Miles axed the entire defensive staff. Do you think our D has not improved this year? Get real.

Yes but the fact is every week we heard the D would improve last year, it didnt. This year we hearing the O will improve but it doesnt. Face the facts. The team lacks discipline and its shown the last two years. Its also obvious the team isnt being coached up. All I want to see is improvement.

For me, this season is at a crossroads right now. The Auburn game is critical for me.

Last year, we saw that terrible defense week after week. After each game, Miles said the defense would get better. He said they were going to work hard to make corrections. Well, the defense never improved.

Now it's 2009 and our offense has looked the same for 6 straight games- penalties, sacks, no rhythm, no RS, etc, etc. After every game we're told that the everyone is working real hard to get better. We're told that Miles wants RS to get more touches......

I can honestly say, I have seen ZERO improvement from our offense since week 1.

If Miles and Co can get the offense turned around this team could be special.

    If they don't, we're looking at 8-4 or 9-3.

I cannot disagree with the statement. The problem however is that there is no one else. LSU fans really need to understand that and come to grips with it. We don't have Matt Flynn sitting back there on the bench, biding his time.

Bottom line is our preparation and play calling is atrocious! Whoever is calling plays should not be anymore. Give the job to someone with schooled imagination. These teams like Houston, with far less talent than we have, is just piling up the offensive stats against some pretty good teams. Its the coaches job to have the team ready with plays that work. There is no other excuse or reason for arguing, especially not with the talent we have.

Also, I love a mobile quarterback but a thinking quarterback with fire is most important. We need someone who is a student of the game, not someone whose main asset is being athletically gifted. Look at the great quarterbacks...they all have certain things in common...they're the first one to practice and the last one to leave with an intense desire to win (ie Brees, Manning, Tebow). Tebow may be the most athletically gifted. The others do more homework than anyone. Is JJ, JL, RS or the other freshman redshirt anything like that?
