I don't know whether to look at this as a positive or negative

    Lot of good programs go national in their recruiting, with a ton of talent in their home state. Some athletes are just difference makers and worth the effort. The kid we just picked up and hopefully will sign, Cyrus Jones, out of Maryland has that about him. Depriest out of Ohio was a super prospect, last year, who played a lot, even in the NC as a freshman LB, in amongst a bevy of hardened, senior LBs. Frankly, Gunner Kiel was another big name that Saban went at hard and long, he took his shot.

    Talk about residual benefit, after a while you realize that your brand is a big deal with national recruits. These kids love to brag about who has offered, it's a badge of honor to them. Nobody should expect them all, just every so often. But most of the elite coaches recruit like they coach. Their way
