I keep wondering in the back of my mind if there is a good reason they won't give J-Lee an opportunity? His track record isn't something to write home about. Its possible he's not showing progression in his game. I don't know what the answer is but SOMETHING has to change on offense for this team to have success down the road this season. We have a good enough defense to compete for championships this year. Unfortunately, even with J-Lee, I'm not sure we take much of a step forward. Please, somebody prove me wrong.

well if a coach with an offensive background is hired, it may be unwise to get rid of chavis.

i can understnd a defensive coach being hired (and i'm all in favor of a defensive minded HC) and him wanting to come in and install his own defense. but if a guy like i don't know lets say john gruden ;) came in short of getting kiffin back, why wouldn't keep a guy who arguably after 4 games this year has one of the best defenses in coll fb.

Are you insane? You really think the OC is telling Jefferson to overlook open receivers and throw it at their feet? A goddamn idiot can recognize that LSU's problem is at quarterback. Don't take it from us (ALL OF US) Listen to the football experts around the country. You have Crowton on the brain.

    +1 !!!

With this Defense & Running Game, & Special teams, we just need J-Lee to come in and make some accurate throws. We dont need the option or a running QB

We have some serious speed at the WR spot, serious down field threat if J-Lee can just put the ball in there!

We know he can do atleast what JJ is doing. We know he can hand the ball off!

    JJ meet Clipboard

    JL meet 1st string O

Beside the point. Look, you know for a fact that I have never been a Jefferson fan. Even when people were giving me a hard time on this board, I said the obvious... he is not a QB and will never ever be a QB. With that said, throwing him under the bus when the major offensive problems are up in the booth seems like a futile attempt for a quick fix.

I find this funny as hell, I call this to a T while all the delusional fans on this board told me I was insane. What I said was going to happened, happened and will continue to happen.

You are not going to solve this by throwing Lee to the Lions, I assure you there is NO quick fix. Get a real OC in there then Lee can maybe help this offense improve, until then you are spinning your wheels.

BS. You offer no evidence to support the only tune you know. Just your opinions, of which you are very fond. Try to understand . . . your lame opinions do not constitute facts.

You keep on saying the only tunes I know, but the tunes keep on playing. The same tunes I said would be playing, why? I have two eyes, it's obvious. You trying to rewrite history is kind of funny.

One loss away from complete mutiny for this offense. Crowton destroyed this offense a long time ago, only the delusional fanboy could ignore this obvious fact.

I laughing my ass off, everyone blasted me for years for saying this was coming down the pipe. Now all of sudden it was my opinion, sorry it is now a FACT.

Red, i get you. The QB thought process is horrible. But he has been inthe system for 3 years and we are still calling that crappy option play, our O-line is playing undisciplined, the offense seem completely lost at times. This is where coaching (particularly the OC) is to blame. It is the simple things that should be hammered out in practice that never seems to get fixed.

It's the "what came first, the chicken or the egg" syndrome. Is JJ playing terrible because of the OC play calling or is the play calling causing the offense to sputter?

I believe it is predominantly a problem with the QB. There was a close up of JJ's face last night and you could see it in his eyes, he has no confidence and looks lost. I don't believe the OC has confidence in JJ in the red zone and on big 3rd downs, hence we get nothing but runs up the middle or short passes in front of the first down and hope the receiver can make a play. We have no consistent medium or downfield threat and the teams we play figure out eventually that we probably wont beat them with the long pass.

JJ has no confidence, he seems too scared to make a mistake and throw an INT, so he holds the ball way too long.

I think Miles needs to announce a change and work Lee and start him next week.

What evidence do you offer of mutiny? Zero!

Hoss, everyone is still blasting you for the obvious reasons.
