Right, but that’s not exceptions, b/c too many names. CCCs problem was CLMs gameplan limits, ingame decisions, and QB recruit decisions. BH failing at UNC to me proves it wasn’t CCC. CLM is to blame for 10 years of QB failures. I think CCC, if left to do his thing and had the QBs we have now, could have done a hell of a lot more. He’s not Canada, or even Kiffen, when it comes to play calling (his Balt Raven years tell me that), but he would have developed the QB position in time, I think. Problem was CLM was never going to leave the OC unfettered.
