    I feel you LaSalle.

It's been a full 4 seasons since we've had good QB play.

Not taking anything away from Lee this season. He was good earlier in the year when we at least had some form of a passing game.

But I see these awesome studs we recruit - P.Peterson, Randle, Brockers, Montgomery, Mingo, Claiborne and Mathieu, etc and I could go on and on..... but I cannot understand how we didn't have a good quality QB.

I mean, how are you 4-deep at tailback, but you're not 1 deep at QB?

How do you have 4 SEC Calibur DE's, 4 stud CB's, but you don't have 1 guy on the 85 man roster that gives you an advantage at QB?

I'm grateful for the 13-0 start and SEC Championship this year. I really am.

I guess it's a credit to our coaches and our overall talent that we won 13 games this year and 11 last year with so little quarterback production.

First off, in no way am I calling for Miles to be fired nor have I ever done so.

But as others have mentioned here, we have had poor QB play for the past several years. Les has had time to recognize this and recruit some talent at the position. He has also had time to have the talent practice with the team and get ready for SEC play. I don't care if the best choice is Rivers, Randall, Mett, or even Gunner.

The time for LSU to have good (not asking for great immediately) QB play comes in September. If this does not occur, I will hold Les responsible....Not that it matters to him.

I agree, and Jordan Jefferson can only take so much of the blame. He was a Miles experiment, and I honestly feel that he had absolutely no fear of losing his job. He could play as terrible as the worst quarterback to ever take the field, and he was not getting replaced. Hell, how long did it take last season for him to get pulled and us go back to the 2 qb system? At least throughout the West Virginia game.

This one is totally on Les for not striking fear into his quarterback's eyes, and know that if he played poorly he was getting pulled. In another thread I said that Jordan was really the only player who was treated like that.

I gotta tell you, I'm not going to be confident in Miles' ability to select a quarterback until I see him prove it for certain. As a matter of fact, I'm not going to be confident in our offense, until I see a change for certain.

    Agreed.

You must let go of the "What ifs'. They are meaningless but they will kill you.

I prefer "We'll get 'em next time."
